In response to the needs of women and their families, the Avon Foundation Breast Cancer Crusade has for more than a decade raised funds and awareness for advancing access to care and finding a cure for breast cancer. Avon Foundation funding support the outreach of our Women’s Health Awareness program to a 36-county area.
The Community Foundation of Abilene was established in 1985 to build charitable endowments and to serve donors. It consists of numerous permanent funds built by many thoughtful individuals, families and companies who care about Abilene and our region that allows the Foundation to provide grant support to local non-profits. Alliance for Women & Children is pleased to receive support through the Community Foundation of Abilene.
The Alliance for Women & Children has been an affiliate of the United Way of Abilene for more than 50 years. The United Way currently supports three of our programs; After-School Care, A-Teens and Women’s Health Awareness
