Women are a major factor in our country's economic picture with opportunities and challenges unparalleled in our country's history. In order to further their careers or to break into a new business venture, they need to improve and enhance their existing skills.
By providing various career professionals to mentor and teach, women in the community can come together to learn and to network with others.
Program Profile
Initiated in October of 2005, the Women's Economic Empowerment (WEE) program focuses on leadership, networking, and education for women in the workplace or those who would like to enter the world of business. Through monthly luncheons women have the opportunity to explore various issues and topics that are pertinent in a business environment.
Various career women from throughout the community lend their professional knowledge and expertise plus provide a time for networking. Personal and professional growth is the goal of each luncheon session.

Meetings are held in the Alliance for Women & Children auditorium, located at 1350 N 10th St. The WEE luncheons begin at noon, program begins at 12:15 PM and the entire event ends by 1:00 PM, giving participants plenty of time to return to work. Reservations are encouraged.
